The Basic Training Program in Interactive Guided Imagery℠ is a comprehensive introduction to the philosophy, skills, and structure of imagery facilitation. This program includes three core courses—Fundamentals of Interactive Guided Imagery, ATS 1A, and ATS 1B—which together create a strong, experiential foundation for anyone looking to integrate guided imagery into their professional practice.
Across the Basic Training, you’ll develop competence in the essential Interactive Guided Imagery℠ techniques:
You will learn in 3 self-paced courses- FIGI, ATS 1A, and ATS 1B.
The culmination of the courses will be with a 3-day virtual live Preceptorship 1. Each day is an 8 hour intensive of guiding, receiving and observing imagery sessions.

The Basic Training offers both skills and transformation. You’ll learn techniques that are powerful, often immediately effective, and deeply supportive for clients dealing with stress, emotional challenges, inner conflict, or insight-seeking.
This program is also the first major step toward full Professional Certification in Interactive Guided Imagery℠. By the end, you’ll feel grounded, confident, and ready for the more advanced ATS series.
