Independent Study (No CE Credit)

Pre-Requisite: All 9 courses (FIGI through ATS/4B) and both Preceptorships

The Independent Study requirement is an opportunity for you to explore and bring together related ideas that help you integrate Interactive Guided Imagery^sm into your clinical practice.

We acknowledge the value of your previous training in other related areas, such as hypnosis, Neurolinguistic Programming, self-actualization and ego state therapy, Psychosynthesis, Gestalt therapy, meditation, visualization, art therapy, and other clinical approaches that use techniques related to Interactive Guided Imagery^sm.

Attendance for CE credit at any AGI Annual Conference or webcast qualifies as related training.

You are required to document this training, and to submit copies of these documents with a 1-3 page typed paper discussing how and why this training has enriched your abilities as an Imagery Guide^sm.

When your documents have been verified and your paper approved, you are then eligible to apply for Certification in Interactive Guided Imagery^sm.
